
Thacher Hall

Constructed in 1870, Thacher Hall is one of the finest surviving examples of American gothic architecture in New England. Designed by the Boston architect Samuel Thayer, and constructed by local builder John Hinckley, the interior features gothic arches, spectacular frescoes and the original tracker pipe organ by William Horatio Clarke.
Please note that during its ongoing restoration, Thacher Hall requires some walking and the use of stairs to the access the building.
Parking is available around the common on Strawberry Lane (directly across the street from the hall), or at the nearby lots at both the post office (231 Main Street) and the Chapter House Cape Cod (277 Main Street). Thacher Hall has pew seating only.
First Congregational Church of Chatham
650 Main Street, Chatham MA
First Congregational boasts some of the most beautiful acoustics on the Cape! Located at the Chatham rotary, the church is fully accessible and has an elevator. Limited parking is located on Old Harbor Road beside the church, with stair-free access from the rear entrance. Please note that this on-site parking is reserved for those with limited mobility.
Additional parking is available on Main Street and in the Town Parking Lot (across the street, behind the Orpheum Theater). The FCC has pew seating only.


The Meetinghouse at the Centers for Culture and History in Orleans (CHO)

This Greek Revival structure was built in 1834 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Formerly used as the meeting house for the Universalist Church of Orleans, this building houses the CHO’s Museum and is used for special exhibits and cultural programs. Since 2017, more than $1 million has been raised and spent on updating this facility and making it accessible to all. On-site parking is available. The CHO has chair seating.
