Got Questions?
How much does it cost to get in?
General admissionis $30. HOWEVER...
If you're under 18, then you're free. (Thank you for being the future of classical music!) OR...
If $30 is a bit hard and means you might have to eat beans all week (been there), then come on a Sunday and use the Pay-What-You-Can option.
What about accessibility?
First Congregational Church in Chatham and Dennis Union Church (as you suspected - in Dennis...), are both accessible, with ramps and an elevator in Chatham. Thacher Hall is still in the process of being renovated, and does not have those things YET. At Thacher there are a few stairs and parking is close but is off-site. All the halls have pew seating only.
And the complicated clapping rules?
Classical concerts admittedly have a reputation for having potentially outdated (yep, we said it) expectations. We ask that you turn off your phone, and that you don't yell or jump up and down during the concert. ( But it would be awesome if you liked the performance that much). Clap where you like, but if it worries you, clap when other people do and then you can blame it on them.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
I think that Giocosa has always understood the essence of beautiful music…and that is to share joy and love. Heather and Liz are champions of serving the Cape like no other, and they have always impressed me with their ingenuity, talent and heart.

Giocosa Chamber Music is a wonderful Cape resource! As someone less knowledgeable about classical music, attending their concerts is both a fantastic learning opportunity and a highly professionally produced concert. The musicians are top level and attendees can appreciate that each program is carefully thought out and planned.
